Family Physician
Horizon is recruiting family practitioners to join the medical staff at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Your practice will include patients with a cross section of age groups from newborns to geriatrics.

Hospital responsibilities may include emergency shifts and care of inpatients.

Horizon is recruiting a qualified/eligible Anesthetist to provide Ambulatory Anesthesia solo practice services for the Day Surgery program at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital (SMH).
SMH provides day surgery services for Orthopedics, Plastics, Gynecology, Urology, General and Minor Vascular Surgery to approximately 1,100 patients each year. An outstanding highly experienced OR nursing team and state of the art equipment are present on-site to facilitate provision of these services.
Anesthetic expertise in general, axial regional, peripheral regional and conscious sedation techniques is required.
The Day Surgery program runs between 7:45 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday – Friday, and there is no on-call requirement. Family Medicine, Laboratory, Emergency Department, and basic radiology services are available on-site. Back-up Anesthesia/ICU and other specialty support, with a capacity to admit patients when rarely required, is available at our parent facility, The Moncton Hospital, 30-minutes away.
